  Robert E. Murphy, Chairman
Bob Murphy's impressive credentials in the printing industry go back to 1965, when he started in Japs-Olson's production department. He worked his way through various posts in the pressroom before moving on to a series of administrative and sales positions. He became President in 1977, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in 1990. Bob has long been active with industry trade associations. He has held 21 different leadership positions for the Printing Industry of America (PIA). He was one of the founders of the Printing Industry of Midwest (PIM) in 1983, and has remained active in that group ever since. Mr. Murphy was named PIM's Outstanding Graphic Arts Leader in 1991 and in 1993 was inducted into the Printing Impressions/RIT Hall of Fame for his business accomplishments and leadership in industry trade associations. He was inducted into the Soderstrom Society in 1994 and received the 1998 Lewis Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award. Mr. Murphy was the North American honoree of the PAF sponsored Graphic Arts Leaders of the Americas Hall of Fame. |
 Michael W. Beddor, Chief Executive Officer
Mike Beddor joined Japs-Olson Company in 1975 after graduating from the University of Minnesota. His career at Japs-Olson started in production, working in the lettershop and mailing. He assumed a position of sales and as an Account Executive worked with major clients nationwide. Mike became President in 1995 and in 2002 he assumed the duties of CEO. Mike has been an active member in the Midwest Direct Marketing Association (MDMA), Printing Industry of America (PIA), Printing Industry of Midwest (PIM), and Direct Marketing Association (DMA) for most of his career. He has served on the MDMA advisory board and was named Direct Marketer of the Year in recognition for his contributions to the industry. |
 Michael R. Murphy, President
Michael graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1993 and joined Japs-Olson Company. He led the company's conversion to digital technology in prepress and founded the digital print group in 1998. He has held numerous production management positions at Japs-Olson including VP Technology, Chief Operating Officer, and since 2002 as President. Michael is an active member with the Printing Industry of America (PIA), Printing Industry of Midwest (PIM), and Graphic Arts Technical Foundation, Mailing/Fulfillment Association (MFSA) organizations and is a current Hennepin Technical College Foundation board member. |
 Kevin J. Beddor, President JO Direct
Kevin Beddor has managed Japs-Olson Company's Direct Mail Syndication Division since 1985. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Kevin has served in various positions at Japs-Olson Company since 1972. |
 Gary Petrangelo, Chief Financial Officer
Gary joined Japs-Olson Company in 2005 after 6 years in public accounting. Prior to that, Gary spent 6 years as an attorney at a large corporation. Gary received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. He received his law degree from the University of Iowa's Boyd College of Law. Gary is a licensed member of the Minnesota Bar and a Certified Public Accountant. |
