Color Control

At Japs-Olson we take color seriously. All of our web presses are equipped with Closed Loop Control Systems. This system starts in Prepress. All ink information is digitally transferred from the computer-to-plate systems to the press console for ink presets. Once loaded, the ink keys will automatically adjust to provide the exact ink profile from the digital plate. This system will ensure the fastest possible color match during makeready and reduce paper usage.

The system uses the 1/8" color bar and provides reports on density, dot gain, and print contrast. These reports provide our customers the comfort to know that we printed within the established tolerance throughout the job.
